Scholarships to study in US

We understand that studying in the United States can be costly but with the help of scholarships/grants, the cost of your education can be reduced considerably.

These scholarships are not that easy to avail as the competition is very high. With years of experience, we will make sure that your application reflects excellence which will increase your chances of securing the scholarship. Scholarships can be partial or fully paid, which primarily depends on the criteria, course and the institution. While there are scholarships which are provided by the American government, there are various private and public establishments as well which offer grants and bursaries. While applying for scholarships, make sure you check the criteria carefully, along with the application closing date.

List of Scholarships for International Students

Foreign Fulbright Student Program

For International students who are applying to master’s or PhD programs; the scholarship will cover tuition fee, health insurance, textbooks, airfare, and living costs.

Grant amount: Full/ Partial/ $20000/ $20000 – $50000/annum

Orange Tulip Scholarship

The scholarship offers awards up to 100% tuition fee waiver for pursuing higher education with various courses to choose from. Not only this, many higher education institutions, multinationals and government institutions are part of this programme.

Eligibility: Indian citizens who are not studying in or working in the respective country. Grant amount is full scholarship.

The Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship

The scholarship is given to postgraduate students from select developing countries who have no other source of financial help for their graduate studies. The scholarships are 50 percent grant and 50 percent loan.

Priority is given to requests for Master’s level courses but applications for PhD programmes is also considered.

Eligibility: The Foundation accepts applications from nationals of the following countries: Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Syria, Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Madagascar and Mozambique and under 30 yrs of age.

The American Association of University Women

This scholarship is granted to women who are not US citizens who want to do full-time study or research in the United States.

Grant amount: 18,000 USD – 30,000 USD

Rotary Foundation Global Grants

The grant is offered for graduate-level coursework or research for one to four academic years. Areas of focus are: Peace and conflict prevention/resolution, Disease prevention and treatment, Water and sanitation, Maternal and child health, Basic education and literacy, and Economic and community development.

Grant amount: 30,000 USD

Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship

This is an achievement-based scholarship which is given to graduating high school seniors. 150 CocaCola Scholars are selected each year to receive this $20,000 scholarship.

Generation Google Scholarship

This scholarship was established to help aspiring computer scientists excel in technology and become leaders in the field. Selected students will receive 10,000 USD (for those studying in the US) or

5,000 CAD (for those studying in Canada) for the 2020-2021 school year.

Gates Millennium Scholarship

Started in 1999, this initiative is funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Eligibility: African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian Pacific Islander American and Hispanic American students with high academic and leadership promise who have significant financial need.

Grant amount: Full scholarship

Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation PG Scholarship

This scholarship is offered every year only to Indian students who want to pursue postgraduate studies and have consistent academic record.The study can be in the fields of Pure Sciences, Applied Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities, Law, Architecture and Management at prestigious Indian and international universities.

Grant amount: INR 20 lakhs
